Golden carapaces shimmer under bioluminescent light as they swarm through vast tunnels, protecting treasures and secrets left behind by the old gods.
How to access Scaraba Hole
Required Level : Level 70 or higher
Quest Prerequisite: Ring of the Wise King
Quest: Sapha’s Visit
1. Talk to Expedition Guards
At Midgard Camp (mid_camp 222/246), speak with Guard Ben or Guard Maha and overhear their chat about the arrival of a race called the Sapha, giant tree-like beings.
They suggest you speak with Aello for more details.
2. Meet Guard Aello
Go inside the main tent at (mid_camp 214/249) and talk to Aello (mid_campin 93/114).
He mentions that a Sapha envoy from Manuk wishes to see you.
3. Visit the Sapha Envoy
Head upstairs and talk to the Soldier (mid_campin 111/120) standing outside a room on the right. He’ll let you in.
Requirement: Equip the Ring of the Ancient Wise King to communicate with the Sapha. (You don’t need prior quest completion — just the ring.)
4. Speak with Vyhannus
Inside the room, talk to Vyhannus, the Sapha representative.
He explains that the Sapha have been watching humans’ arrival in the New World but respect your past efforts aiding Manuk and Laphine.
Their leader, Ravail, has been informed of your deeds.
5. Learn about El Dicastes
Talk to Vyhannus again. He describes El Dicastes, the Sapha capital city, and informs you that Hound has chosen you to visit.
Speak to him once more — he directs you to find Captain Avalanche in Manuk (two maps east, one map south of the camp).
6. Report to Captain Avalanche
In southeast Manuk, enter the building at (manuk 309/142), go up the left stairs, and talk to Guard Captain Avalanche (man_in01 315/51).
He grants you permission to use the mountain tunnel to reach El Dicastes.
7. Enter the Tunnel
Go to east Manuk (manuk 321/182) and talk to the Entrance Manager to enter the passage.
Note 1: This unlocks Scarab Hole Level 1.
Note 2: If you already possess Light of El Dicastes, you can use it here to skip ahead — but only after finishing Step 8. (Activate it inside the first-floor tunnel.)
8. Travel to El Dicastes
Follow the tunnel path until you reach El Dicastes Field, then move to the top of the map.
Speak to the Guard (dic_fild01 149/281) to enter the city.
9. Register in El Dicastes
Go through the north portal and into the next area (dicastes02 120/235), then enter the building at the top.
Talk to the Adventure Clerk to register and receive the Light of El Dicastes.
10. (Optional) Enchanting
Visit Kareka in the El Dicastes Factory (dicastes01 96/257) to enchant the three hidden slots of your Light of El Dicastes accessory.

How to access Scaraba Hole Level 2
Required Level : Level 70 or higher
Quest Prerequisite: Sapha’s Visit
Doha’s Secret Orders
1. Meet Inspector Doha
After completing Step 6 of Sapha’s Visit, head to the nearby room in Midgard Camp and talk to Inspector Doha (mid_campin 167/170).
⚠️ You must proceed through Step 7 of Sapha’s Visit to gain entry access to El Dicastes — otherwise, the guards will block your entry.
Doha assigns you a confidential mission to uncover who attacked a report courier earlier.
2. Accept the Mission
Speak with Inspector Doha again when he pauses to take a drink.
He asks you to gather clues about the attacker’s identity during your travels.
3. Head to El Dicastes
In the southwest section of El Dicastes, enter the building at (dicastes01 137/106).
Inside, take the right-side elevator to reach Pub Burman Flone.
4. Investigate in the Pub
Talk to the bartender behind the counter.

Choose: Talk → Ask about other races → With cat ears.
He recommends you ask around among the Sapha and Cat Hand residents.
💡 You must have completed Sapha’s Visit to progress.
5. Gather Information Around El Dicastes
Speak to the following NPCs in any order:

Walking Knit — Center of town (dicastes01 207/210) -
Resting Piom — Northwest area (dicastes01 112/248) -
Training Galten — Southeast area (dicastes01 249/140)
After speaking with all three, return to the pub and talk to Shay again.
He directs you to find BK, a Cat Hand agent.
6. Deliver Shay’s Message to BK
Exit El Dicastes and head southeast to (dic_fild01 231/174).
Talk to BK and tell him: “Shay’s special drink will be delivered.”
You now unlock Scarab Hole Level 2 by talking to the Vigilantes (dic_dun01 290/104).
When prompted, hand over 3 Sapha Certifications to BK.
Once you do, he’ll send you back to Shay.
Sapha Certifications can be obtained from Document Quests or Department Quests.
7. Search for Clues Outside El Dicastes
Shay asks you to investigate the southeast area outside El Dicastes, near a cracked surface.
Travel two maps south to (dic_fild02) and check around the southeast corner for suspicious spots.
Once you discover an item, return to Shay in the pub.
8. Meet Minister Ahat
Shay now instructs you to gather three more Sapha Certifications and request an audience with Ahat.
Inside the Diel building, talk to the Adventure Clerk (dic_in01 40/261) and choose:
“I want to meet the minister.”
When told that Ravail is unavailable, ask instead to see Minister Ahat.
Take the elevator at the back to reach the Administrative Office.
9. Navigate to Ahat’s Office
From the elevator:

Go east, then north and speak to the Diel Guard, saying “I have permission.”

Continue east, then north again, and talk to another Diel Guard by the doorway.

Follow the hallway east to reach Ahat’s office.
Inside, talk to Minister Ahat behind the desk and choose any dialogue options.
10. Assist the Secret Adjutant
Next to Ahat, speak to the Secret Adjutant, who tasks you with collecting:

10 Clotted Bloodstains
-
10 Strange Magic Stones
-
10 Frozen Pieces of Skin
You decide to gather one extra of each as evidence for Inspector Doha.
Once you have 11 of each item, return to the Secret Adjutant and hand in part of the materials.
11. Report Back to Ahat
Speak with Minister Ahat again to receive a Bradium Brooch as a reward.
12. Unexpected Meeting
As you leave the building, Jarute HesLanta stops you and invites you into his office.
Talk to him and choose any responses while discussing Ahat’s activities.
13. Final Report
Return to Inspector Doha (mid_campin 167/170) to report the outcome.
He rewards you with a Dragon Manteau.
14. Exit the Building
Leave through the main entrance to complete the mission.
