📖 Story

In Port Malaya, villagers live in fear of Bakonawa, a monstrous creature said to swallow the moon.
Help recover lost belongings, assist the townspeople, prepare traps, and gain access to the lair where the final battle awaits.

📜 Main Quest Requirements

  • Base Level 120+
  • Consume 17 Lost Belonging
  • Hunt 15 Tikbalang
  • Complete prerequisite quest: Cautious Village

Step 1: Meet the Village Leader

  1. Go to the town park area.
  2. Speak with the Village Leader (283,265).
  3. Select “I’m on my way”.
  4. He explains the threat of a giant moon-devouring beast.
  5. He asks you to investigate missing villagers.

Step 2: Hunt Forest Spirits

  1. Defeat Tiyanak monsters in the hunting area.
  2. Each kill has a chance to automatically grant Lost Belongings.
  3. These items are account-bound.
  4. Collect at least 17 total for the quest chain.

Step 3: Return Items to Families

① Missing Person’s Father

  • NPC Location: (270,267)
  • Give 2 Lost Belongings
  • He sends you to the missing person’s friend.

② Missing Person’s Friend

  • NPC Location: (266,274)
  • Give 7 Lost Belongings
  • He asks you to visit the missing person’s child.

③ Missing Person’s Son

  • NPC Location: (269,278)
  • Give 3 Lost Belongings
  • He asks you to speak with the mother.

④ Missing Person’s Mother

  • NPC Location: (266,284)
  • Give 5 Lost Belongings
  • Return to the Village Leader afterward.

Step 4: Prepare for Battle

  1. The Village Leader confirms the missing villagers were killed.
  2. Peace rituals are no longer enough.
  3. He gives you 5 Inside-Out Shirts.
  4. He sends you to the Young Fortune Teller.

Step 5: Restore Moon Energy

  1. Speak with the Young Fortune Teller (289,364).
  2. She says moonlight is weakening, empowering evil spirits.
  3. To complete her ritual, she needs monster blood.
  4. Defeat 15 Tikbalang.
  5. Return to receive 5 Tikbalang Harnesses.

Step 6: Set Defensive Traps

Return to the Village Leader. He asks you to help place traps near the village and lake entrance.

Walk near these workers in order:

  1. Gruff Worker — ma_fild01 (54,253)
  2. Grumpy Worker — ma_fild01 (236,119)
  3. Cowardly Worker — ma_scene01 (177,89)
  4. Gloomy Worker — ma_scene01 (141,118)
  5. Sentimental Worker — ma_scene01 (175,170)

  • 5 Tikbalang Harnesses
  • 5 Lesser Agimat
  • Unlock access to Bakonawa’s Lair

⚔️ Bakonawa Instance

Phase 1 – Initial Assault

Bakonawa appears in the lake while Meteor Storm rains continuously.
Defeat him within 10 minutes.

Phase 2 – Swallowing the Moon

Destroy the 4 Instruments (gong objects) to stop Bakonawa.
They take only 1 damage per hit.
Time limit: 5 minutes.

Phase 3 – Enraged Form

Bakonawa returns stronger, using Storm Gust, Lord of Vermilion,
Break Weapon, Shield Reflect, and summons waves of monsters.
Defeat him to spawn the treasure chest.

💡 Recommended Tips

  • Bring strong ranged DPS and AoE damage.
  • Use Fire Armor for Meteor Storm phases.
  • Magnetic Earth / Magic reduction helps greatly.
  • High ASPD is useful for destroying the Instruments quickly.
  • Do NOT Butterfly Wing out after clear — talk to the exit NPC for rewards.
