Ragnarok Landverse Memorial Dungeon: The Nest of Faceworm

|

New Adventures Await to Challenge Your Skills and Conquer the Final Boss!

Dive into the depths of The Nest of Faceworm, where you’ll face the terrifying Faceworm, a formidable foe lurking in the jungle.

This dungeon is for seasoned adventurers to challenge—only the strong can conquer it. Can you?

Requirement:

Level Requirement: 90
– Number of Party Members: At least 1 member required.
– Dungeon Access: Only the party leader can open the dungeon.
– Time Limit: 1 hour.
– Cooldown for Re-entry: 23 hours.
You can enter the Nest of Faceworm once per account per day.

Important Information:

  • If you leave this area before completing it, you cannot re-enter (e.g., due to disconnecting or respawning after death). It’s a good idea to bring Tokens of Siegfried to revive if needed.
  • Most monsters here are Insect-type and have Poison attributes. The hidden minions are Formless-type.
  • Using different elemental armors and potions can help you survive the Faceworm Queen’s attacks.
  • Poison or Undead armor will protect you from most poison damage. If you don’t have these, Shadow armor can reduce poison damage by half.
  • An Alice carded shield is useful against the mini-boss and final boss.
  • Spell Breaker can stop enemy skills and cause damage.

Instance Information

The Faceworm Nest instance is located at the bottom right of the Alberta pathway (Alberta 209,50).
You have 1 hour to complete the instance, which can be tackled solo or with a party. To enter, speak with the Magic Scholar to create the instance, then use the Interdimensional Device to access it.

There are three NPCs related to the instance: the Magic Scholar, the Old Sign, and the Interdimensional Device. The Magic Scholar will create the instance when the party leader speaks to him.

Walkthrough

The Faceworm Nest instance is divided into five parts.
Each phase will spawn a set amount of Faceworms that need to be eliminated to proceed. Once all Faceworms are eliminated or only less than 3 of them remain, the Dark Faceworm mini-boss will be summoned.

You must defeat the Dark Faceworm to advance to the next phases.

Once the Dark Faceworm is defeated, a Treasure Chest will appear nearby, and a portal will open. Proceed through the portal to enter the next part of the instance.

Boss phase

The Faceworm Queen is a formidable opponent with substantial health and powerful attacks.

She can randomly shift her elemental form to Fire, Earth, Water, or Wind, with an announcement indicating the change.

– Poison: The default white form. While in this form, she continuously uses Pierce, Venom Dust, Critical Wounds, Close Confine, and Earthquake.

– Earth: The green form. In this state, she frequently heals herself and casts Quagmire and Earth Drive on players. She may also use Earth Attack if players are within melee range.

– Water: The blue form. She can cast Frost Driver, Wide-Freeze, Storm Gust, and Frost Nova.

– Wind: The yellow form. She can cast Lord of Vermillion, Thunderstorm, and Jupitel Thunder. She also has high evasion, making it challenging to hit her consistently.

– Fire: The enraged red form, activated when she takes significant damage quickly. In this state, she rapidly recovers a substantial amount of health and gains increased movement speed and damage.
She uses powerful screen-wide Earthquake, Dark Soul Strike, Hell’s Judgement, and Pulse Strike. All attacks except Pulse Strike can be interrupted by hitting her.

Important Note: If she is moved too far from the center during the battle, her health will reset to full.

Special Skills:

Regardless of her current form, the Faceworm Queen can employ all the mini-boss skills from previous phases. The tactics used to survive those encounters can also be effective here. If the battle drags on, she may begin using multiple special skills simultaneously.
Note that invisible water ball and poison cloud monsters are not detectable with certain cards due to their lack of visible sprites.

After defeating the Faceworm Queen, the final treasure chest will appear, containing two Giant Faceworm Snake Skins. A Transport Device will also spawn, allowing players to leave instant dungeon

Players can now search for Merchant Prince’s Boxes scattered throughout the instance. These boxes yield various loot when opened, and their number and locations are believed to be random.
